Office Christmas Party

Miller) and his Chief Technical Officer (Jason Bateman) must rally their co-workers and host an epic office Christmas party in an effort to impress a potential client and close a sale that will save their jobs. The latest comedy from directors Josh Gordon and Will Speck (Blades of Glory) co-stars Kate McKinnon, Olivia Munn, Jillian Bell, Rob Corddry, Vanessa Bayer, Randall Park, Sam Richardson, Jamie Chung, and Courtney B. The screening will be followed by a discussion with director Alison Rose and Professor Donald Lyden-Bell, one of the four scientists featured in the film. Co-presented by the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics, this screening is free and open to the public.

Shifting Sands: On the Path to Sustainability

Bolts) · Shifting Sands explores the history of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, which blends nature and industry with its stunning landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and sprawling industrial facilities. As the film suggests, this region, known as "the birthplace of ecological science in North America," presents a model for a sustainable future. Filmmakers Wisniewski and Desch and ecologist Dr. Alison Anatasio will lead a discussion after the screening. Co-presented by the Program on the Global Environment.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

(Wallace Worslet, 1923) · Rockefeller Chapel and Doc Films (and Chapel cat Quasimodo, known to all as Modo) present the 1923 silent film classic Hunchback of Notre Dame, starring Lon Chaney, with live organ accompaniment by Dennis James and live carillon by University carillonneur Joey Brink. This screening will be held at Rockefeller Chapel. Tickets at the door, $20 general, free to students and Doc passholders.
